Our mission is to give Australian mums raising children with disabilities a platform to share their stories, helping others understand the realities of their everyday lives. Through honest conversations, we hope to challenge perceptions, build empathy and create a more inclusive Australia where every child and family feels seen, heard and supported.
Meet your host
Hi, I'm Nicole. I am a mum and a physiotherapist who works in the child disability space. While raising a child with a disability isn’t my lived experience, through my work I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible mums and their equally incredible children. I created Motherhood, Differently to give these mums a platform to share their stories, celebrate their children and help others better understand their world. My hope is that these conversations build empathy, challenge perceptions and help create a more inclusive world where every child belongs.
